Welcome to the 23rd State of the Sndbox newsletter! This is week, we’ve started the New Year right with some 1-2 punch graphics, a new thumbnail selection, and a fresh new interview to start the 1st Sndbox cohort off right.

New Thumbnail Competition!
A New Year means a new month of fresh new thumbnail entries. This round was exceptionally great and as you can see above, the amazing entry by @thillustrator came out on top.

Steem Stats and Open Social-Media Campaigns
Last week, we saddled up to ride the excitement of Steem and begin a series of infographic illustrations for the community. Each is meant to capture some of the most compelling qualities of the Steem blockchain and easily shared on social-media.

I think this deserves maximum upvotes, it was the clear winner. It will be interesting to see what people do with it next time. You might have moved things forward in design terms of "what can we do next?". I am thinking.

Hi @artistchristian, that's a great question. We have a roster of members (that definitely needs an update) on our website sndbox.co and we'll be presenting a full list of members next week!

On another note, this sentence caught me - “a fresh new interview to start the 1st Sndbox cohort off right.” Does that mean the new batch of members need interview ? And how do we know if we’re selected if there’s an interview? Will sndbox email or tag us on steemit ? :) thanks for answering all my questions ! You’re so awesome !

Steem stats is a great initiative that would help potential investors to know how strong steem blockchain is. This would help assure them their investments are 100 % secure with overall positive effect on steem ecosystem. Thanks KS for coming up with such a wonderful idea.
