This Week in the Sndbox

Welcome to the 4th State of the Sndbox newsletter! So far this week, we’ve gone over our open call for delegation and how we plan to use our curatorial power to support the Steemit community. This past Sunday, we cataloged all of our Sndbox votes for the first time. The curation post includes writing by our Sndbox members, new creative Steemit users, and Steemit-based impact initiatives.

Community Impact

Yesterday, we recounted our experience hosting a workshop for the NYC Department of Transportation’s Summer Streets festival. We were thrilled to be invited to showcase the STEEM Park project and had an amazing turnout. It will be the first of many public activities we hope to pursue with the Sndbox team and our network members. Be sure to send us your ideas for future events a follow event updates on our Meetup page.

What to Look Out For This Week

Tonight, we will be hosting our first Creative Blockchain NYC workshop for potential Steemit and Sndbox members in the New York City area. Our goal for the event is to cover the basics of Steemit and specifically encourage creative professionals to incorporate the STEEM blockchain in their respective practices. We’ll be presenting our work and pictures from the event on Friday. Stay tuned!

Tomorrow, we’ll have a new Toolkit post that helps new users familiarize themselves with the Steemit wallet. We will break down each currency (STEEM, STEEM Power and SBD) and what each category means for you.

Thank you for reading this week’s State of the Sndbox. Be sure to follow for all of our daily posts and weekly newsletter.

I could totally imagine a memory palace with the Steem Park. Imagine you could teach the visitors something about Steemit and they remember it right away by thinking about the park. Let me know if that is something you are interested in. Memory techniques are my specialty.

Today is the first time I see your work, twice within 10 minutes. AWESOME WORK! I am now officially following you. Namaste :)

So happy to be part of the sndbox team. keep up the great work !

STEEM Park - Great idea for attracting new members to the community. The more such events - the more talents will be able to develop themselves and develop the community. Great!

Absolutely, thanks so much! And yes, that's the idea > we like community impact projects :) Much more to come!
