Recent survey discovered huge petrol reserves under water in the Eastern Mediterranean bordering on Syria, Lebanon, and Israel. Beirut was shelled into oblivion in 2006 by the IDF. Five years later, so-called Syrian Civil War begins effectively removing Assad from the equation of regional political significance. Consequently, only the Jews have the political, economic, and social resources to develop the Leviathan gas fields.
