America working with "Rebels" is the US Afghan Mujehaddin strategy all over again. Except that everybody has the hindsight of 911. Make no mistake every war creates many Hitlers or Bin Laden types. Hitler was a soldier in ww1. Bin Laden was a Afghan war veteran. 20 years from now the Western nations will be facing a threat that came about because of the Iraq, Libya and Syria wars. Some individual or maybe a group(maybe IS?). To organize, fund, arm and unleash islamic terrorists while pretending they are rebels aka freedom fighters automatically makes our western nations less safe. How can we fight islamic terror whilst arming islamic terrorists. This is a illogical policy. Yes we need oil. But the oil producing nations need us to buy it from them. They need our money. We do not need to invade any oil producers to get the oil. These wars are about geo politics, the oil is a bonus. The jewish lobby in the US is very influencial, they also ifluence local elections and national elections. I know it aounds almost absurd because one would think the jewish group isn't thag big but you mst understand that they invest heavily in education, and as a result they occupy influencial roles in society. I don't blame them. They are only doing what's in their best interests.

However it is not in wider America's best interests to be fighting wars for another country in this case Israel. Israel has achieved great things in technology etc. and it enjoys a western lifestyle. If the Palestinian question could be solved then Israel would not need US backing. The US mujedhadin rebel strategy acts against Israel in the end because it created more islamists, islamists hate the west and they hate israel. Yes they will smile and take the weapons and money, yes they will pretend to be in service to the west but these wars will end someday. And the west will not want to hang out with it's islamists rebel dogs of war. The west will eventually abandon them to themselves. Ofcourse it will. What westerner wants to spend any longer than necessary in those islamic countries. Eventually paths will seperate and that is when these people will go right back to hating us and acting against western interests, remember they see it as their religious duty to drive out outsiders.

The war against islamic terror cannot be won with bombs and bullets alone, we muat fight the ideology to win this war. And it is a war for civilization. A war that will last for atleast 1 generation. America which leads the west has a crazy foreign policy that probably most Americans wouldn't understand and wouldn't support if they were ever fully briefed on it.
