Vietnam-Laos meet face-to-face with prime minister

Local media reported on Monday that Vietnam and Laos had a face-to-face meeting with the prime minister on the 5th and discussed ways to cooperate between the two countries.

Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith are said to have reached an agreement in central Vietnam on the 5th to discuss ways to resume flights between the two countries soon.

Prime Minister of Laos also expressed his gratitude to the Vietnamese government for allowing more than 2,000 Lao international students to return to Vietnam, and expressed hope that the rest of the students could return soon.

Prime Minister Sisoulith, who visited Vietnam on a two-day schedule, will visit Vietnam's production and tourism facility on the 6th and return home.

Prime Minister Sisoulith is the first foreign high-ranking person to visit Vietnam after the Covid19 crisis.
