Elvis Presley Fans Make Pilgrimage to His Grave site at Graceland
8/16/2016 by Associated Press
Thousands of Elvis Presley fans have made their annual pilgrimage to Graceland for a candlelight vigil marking the 39th anniversary of the singer's death in Memphis.
MY OPINION:
SUN WORSHIPING:
Almost a million people go to Memphis each year to visit Graceland the home of Elvis Aron Presley but the holiest shrine in American popular music is over at 706 Union Ave.At Sun Studio. Muddy Waters sings, "the blues had a baby and they named him rock-and-roll," this was the delivery room.
In this Mississippi River town, popular music changed everything that was important when the blues met rock-and-roll happened here at 706 Union Ave and happened here first. Sun Studio (it was Sun Records in the 1950s) calls itself "the birthplace of rock-n-roll" and "the most famous recording studio in the world."
Elvis is dead 39 years this summer (Aug. 16, 1977) unless, of course, if you believe he's not.
If you go to Sun Studio today there are a lot fewer tourists than at Graceland, to visit Sun Studio is to travel in time. At 706 Union Ave., it's still 1954. Part of the feel of Sun and Union Avenue and the 1950s is the music, they play a lot of music for visitors and when they play Jerry Lee Lewis doing "Great Balls of Fire" (Sun's biggest hit) people will have had a spiritual experience.
If the you need further proof of the significance of Sun, there is a wall photograph to commemorate the greatest jam session in the history of rock-and-roll, Dec. 4, 1956. "The Million Dollar Quartet," an impromptu jam session with Elvis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis (the next year he would record "Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On" at Sun).
Elvis and MK ULTRA.
Many government institutions in the 50's were controlled by Freudian 'psychoanalysts' who sought to control the society.
In the late 50's the Elvis phenomenon was seen as an 'unknown' mystery to society which had to be studied and controlled.
By the time Elvis joined the service the US army was the perfect test ground for the MK ULTRA project that involved many drug related experiments to modify the human behavior for the purpose of subliminal control. MK ULTRA operated secretly between '51 and 75' but was exposed to the public in 1977.
The project involved experiments in the field of mind control and group consciousness, it suggests that the experience and desire of one person can influence the behavior of a whole society.
This experiments required the involvement of charismatic figures who had captured the mind, heart and imagination of the masses and no one fitted that part better then Elvis.
Many celebrities involved in MK ULTRA experiments have admired Elvis but the most notorious is Madonna Elvis Presley and Madonna are linked by coincidence, Elvis died on Madonna's birthday, 16th of August.
"1987: Madonna pays homage to the King of Rock and Roll throughout her career, linking herself to Elvis Presley in various ways” "Madonna pays homage to the King by kissing a poster of him in her movie, 'Who's That Girl?'
Regardless of the myths and conspiracies around the solar figure of Elvis Presley it would be wise to say that when he was alive he used to be as bright as the sun and even when his death was announced by The Sun Times! The headline – “The King is Dead!” So the headline looked like it read “The Sun King is Dead! He will continue to be shinning every time we listen to his music.
