RE: The Cost Of Appeasing Social Justice Warriors, Snowflakes, And The Easily Offended

in #news6 years ago

Great post. It seems people are becoming less responsible, more ideological and less adept at critical thinking. No doubt society is and has been engineered this way. Suggestible and vulnerable people have been addicted to the very devices used to control them. The skilfully presented truffles of 'wisdom' found in celebrity culture is often their conduit of information and opinion, sometimes subconsciously, sometimes consciously. The millennials have grown up in a post 9/11 world of increasing surveillance and monitoring for their 'safety' in this 'increasingly dangerous world.' They have also been subjected to a battery of brainwashing that has left many of them seemingly occupying a different planet to their elders. I hope enough of the elders are able to wake up these youngsters before too long but it seems many elders have also fallen prey and are asleep themselves or afraid to speak.

Sort:

The lack of critical thinking is epidemic as is the lack of attention span. How can we talk to people about these things if they can't even carry on a conversation beyond a kneejerk reaction for more than a few minutes? It's like talking to a brainwashed child.

It always boils down to acceptance of personal responsibility in the end and there seems to be no easy way to inform people without them choosing to be offended. Unfortunately more and more are being herded towards the SJW route. Most will comply to be in a majority and it is this sheep like cowardice that is hard to break through. One is unsurprisingly either seen as negative or condescending. It's easier to sling shit and hide than take responsibility. Take Jordan Peterson as an example. He talks well and backs himself with evidence but it's easier for those he constructively critisises to ignore his evidence, take offence and find a safe space rather than look in the mirror. Most aren't able to accept they've been duped and herded, choosing instead to go into denial with the head in the sand rather than face reality. Party politics plays a role IMO in that it encourages ideological thinking and closes down the critical thinking aspect. Schooling too is just brainwashing and the preparation of acceptance of ideological compliance with a rigged and essentially satanic system. No wonder most don't want to 'wake up' to reality. I'm still trying to find out how to communicate with the 'hypnotised' without them taking offence but there seems to be no polite way of doing so on an effective level yet this needs to happen if things are to change for the better.
