This has nothing to do with mysogyny - the hatred of women.
You're a guy growing up. You look around, girls ostracize you for liking games. You look online, in forums and in the games, and 99.999% of the people playing are guys too.
Naturally it is a bit surprising when a woman joins. It has nothing to do with hating women.
Wouldn't you be surprised tomorrow if the sun didn't rise?
It's all about expectations based on experience being violated, and that standing out, and nothing about hating women!
