I think we have missed a step. What makes it evident to me that this is not going to be good for the individual is that it could just as easily be supplied as a card (or on a cellphone). Imagine having all your ID's, bank cards, credit cards, membership cards, and licenses on a single card. Cellphones come close right now but not the ID's and licenses. This might still be troubling as it could still be shut off, limited, tracked, and manipulated just like an implant, but at least you could leave it at home if you wanted/needed to.
I see this all as being rooted in the mistake of giving power to others to dictate our own future - only anarchy has the answer in that sense!
I can tell you that the French will die before accepting the Mark of the Beast and the New World Order ! The Swedes have just lost their way and think that technology will free them , when indeed they will discover that it is quite the reverse ! Interesting to see that they at the same time are quite happy to see their cash taken from the streets and replaced by these RFID identity payment methods ! Take the Mark and Lose your Soul !
