Sexist violence against women is surely the most shameful problem to which, today, humanity faces.

The situation of women, under certain religious fundamentalisms, is atrocious. In many Muslim countries, from Afghanistan to Jordan, more than 90% of men justify sexist violence, even leading to the death of women. The figures are very similar in caste societies in large regions of India.

But there is widespread male violence even in the most advanced European countries: the European Human Rights Agency estimates that every year 13 million Europeans experience physical violence by men. And the figure grows rapidly every year that passes. Only in Spain were more than one million complaints filed for acts of sexist violence during the course of the decade and it is estimated that in most cases the problem is not reported.

Surprisingly the figures of sexist violence in the most advanced European countries (Sweden, Norway and Denmark) are significantly worse than in Spain.

To estimate the true magnitude of the problem in our country, it is worth making a comparison: ETA killed a total of 856 people during 50 years of terrorist activity, the first in 1961 and the last in 2010. A majority feeling assumed that such a massacre was unsustainable. As a result, huge amounts of money were dedicated to the fight against ETA, employing a large number of members of the state's security forces and bodies, negotiations took place even with international mediators and even the "dirty war" was used. To solve the problem.

The Kurgans and the madness of war

This time the threat came from the Kurgans: peoples from the steppes located "east of the Eden" European. They were shepherds to whom the progressive aridity led them to seek new lands. Approximately in the century XXXIV a.C. They became the third great wave of human beings that arrived massively in old Europe. But the Kurgan invaders did not integrate peacefully among the farmers who populated the old Europe. They invaded her by changing her forever.
The Kurgans were a hierarchical society, dominated by aggressive males whose main occupation was war.

They adored a male god, arrogant and vengeful, an angry warlord who dominated the destructive beam. The Kurgans made their invasion on horseback and with war chariots, with bronze swords, entrusted to their terrible male God, Lord of destruction. The Kurgans could move very fast because they had managed to tame horses, something that had not been achieved in the old Europe where the oxen were the shooting beasts; their logistics in combat were simple: they drank the milk of the mares and ate the meat of horses.

For the first time, the madness of war ravaged old Europe and the peaceful followers of the Great Mother, unarmed and without walls, were unable to resist the avalanche of blood and fire from the bellicose Kurgan hordes. The violent Kurgan culture subjected by force to the peaceful matriarchal culture of the Great Mother. Coinciding with the Kurgan invasions appear in old Europe graves with many people killed violently. For example, in the town of Eulau a burial has been found, where there are mostly women and children, but also some elderly men; all were killed at the same time by blows, mostly by hacking.

The Kurgan invaders imposed their monotheistic religion, from a single, all-powerful Father God, to the defeated Indians, ending with more than 40,000 years of the culture of the Great Mother. Nobody returned to sculpt the small statuettes of gay goddesses, sexed, enjoying the music. They also imposed their Indo-European language.

Since then in Europe we only speak Kurgan-rooted languages, since all the languages of today's Europe - with the possible exception of Euskera - are descended from the Indo-European language spoken by the Kurgan invaders.

Patriarchal and warmongering society

But above all they replaced the peaceful matrilineal society of old Europe with a patriarchal, deeply warlike society. As a result, after the invasion of the Kurgans fortified settlements surrounded by walls appear for the first time in Europe. Since then human settlements will be built surrounded by walls in places of easy defense.

It was the end of the civilization of Old Europe, a peaceful world with cities without walls that had not known war. It was also the origin of a difficult time for women, forced violently to occupy a secondary role.
The splendid Minoan civilization and Cycladic civilization of the Aegean were the last society based on the ancestral culture of the Great Mother which they represented as the Mother of fertility, the Mother of the crops, the Mother of the animals, the Mother of the home ...

His artistic legacy includes magnificent frescoes, ceramics and statuettes with impressive representations of beautiful women with flared dresses and naked breasts, who wore serpents and poppies in their hands. The medicine serpent and the poppy from which the opium is extracted. A symbol of knowledge and wisdom, an indication that the wise Minoan matriarchs knew how to remedy the pain of illness. But the magnificent Minoan and Cycladic civilizations also disappeared under the pressure of the warlike Mycenaean warriors, descendants of the Kurgans.l6.jpg
