The threat of a nuclear attack by North Korea is accelerating: US Secretary of Defense James Mattis from Seoul has accused Pyongyang of "illegal and unnecessary programs" promising to defeat any attack mature.

 "Do not make any mistakes. Any nuclear weapon will find a massive military response," he added.
