Facebook Faces Further Federal Scrutiny

Earlier this year Facebook faced a federal investigation into its sharing of user date with the political consulting firm Cambridge Analytica. Earlier today Facebook spoke person Chris Hughes announce that Facebook will face expansion of federal investigations. This news comes after the DOJ and FBI declared their commitment to further investigating Cambridge Analytic and its involvement in 2016 presidential elections. If this was not enough, the Securities and Exchange Commission will be launching its own investigation into public statements made by Mark Zuckerberg about Cambridge Analytica. Will the biggest social network survive the scandal?
