The Battle of Malaya

in #news7 years ago

The Battle of Malaya was an open war between the Allies and the Japanese in Malaya which lasted from 8 December 1941 to 31 January 1942, as part of World War II. The campaign is dominated by land battles between the Commonwealth of Britain and Japan. For the British, Indians, Australians and Malaysians who desperately tried to defend the colony, this war was a disaster because it ended in defeat and the beginning of forced labor for those caught.
