The latest news from Google, but not exciting news its rather unpleasant news.

Yep, as you read in the title, Google has fired 48 employees who committed sexual harassment.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that his company had fired 48 employees over the past two years because of sexual harassment.

Of the dozens of dismissed employees, including 13 senior managers and above, none of them received severance pay.

The Pichai statement was delivered via e-mail sent to all Google employees on Thursday (10/24/2018).

The e-mail was a response to news that said that Google protected a handful of company executives involved in sexual harassment, including Android creator Andy Rubin.

Pichai also said that there is a new system on Google that employees can use to report sexual harassment or abuse.

Google employees can also report sexual abuse anonymously (without mentioning their identity), Pichai said in the e-mail.

US media The New York Times previously reported that Google had provided 90 million dollars in "severance" to Andy Rubin.

This Android father was asked to resign from the company after a female employee reported that Andy had asked him to do something indecent in a hotel room.

I hope the same thing won't happen again, Google.
