A Collection Of Cryptocurrency News and Developments on Binance, EOS, Komodo, BCH, NEM, LBRY, Chainzilla and Many More
I have run into a terrible and a very severe problem. this isn't the first time. It's part of my life. it's because of my lifestyle. I just can't help it. It comes down to a sort of infornography. I actually spend majority of the time (almost 2/3 of it) I spend awake on researching various subjects. I read, watch and play. i'm not addicted to the internet. I don't show most of the symptoms. But I have to admit to be that person who picks up a magazine or a book at a party. i also have fond memories of reading books while studying at school. I did both the lesson and the digesting of the information or the narrative of the book. After dropping out it has almost become a full time job (hobby) for me.
Too Much Content; Too Little time
I get many ideas a day to write about and I read/watch so many content that is worth sharing and if i did share all of them I'd be making 20 posts a day. I don't like to look like a spammer. I hate spam. Just dropping some links on a post isn't enough for me because thee is much to be added. But at times I have to realize that i don't live in a time where i have access to telepathic writing devices.
After consuming so much content, I finally settled to at least pick a subject and make sort of a curation post. Here we go.
Binance CEO: Ethereum and EOS Will Be Too Slow to Succeed in the Long Run - Komodo and Tendermint Will Succeed
I'm a fan of Komodo. but I still think CZ is kind of taking things a little too far. I think the best scalable and most sophisticated system is Hashgraph. But EOS is the most used public blockchain on the planet. Although Komodo claims 20,000 TPS at the moment, it is not battle tested.

More on Komodo
You can read more about their scalability solutions here. Komodo is playing a very clever game putting interoperability at the very core of things.
This new technology creates blockchain interoperability, providing two main benefits. First, if a project launches a blockchain on Komodo and one chain is no longer sufficient to handle that project’s needs, additional chains can be created and synchronized with the first. This is possible because Cross-Chain Smart Contracts allow several (or many) blockchains to communicate with one another and function as a single chain.
This means all projects within the Komodo ecosystem can scale on-demand and grow with their business. As a project’s demands increase, more chains can always be added so that performance never falls behind. If one chain isn’t cutting it, add a second. If two chains aren’t enough, create a third. And so on. There is no limit to the number of chains that can exist in a single assetchain cluster. This tech is available to all projects within the Komodo ecosystem.
Komodo is also the leader in Blockchain Atomic Swaps having done over 95% of all Atomic Swaps. this isn't something EOS or any other project is doing at the moment. EOS is trying to capture the market through sheer performance while Komodo is trying to gain marketshare as a means to performance. Any tiny blockchain project can have bitcoin security through being a part of the Komodo eco-system. Recently this happened with GameCredits. It's a good project. But it can be 51% attacked for $163 per hour at the current rates. That's a terrible situation for a multi-million dollar project.

Many Are ready To Migrate Away From Ethereum
The network is congested since many weeks ago and the Tx fees are only rising. the block time is also huge. Chainzilla is a project that is actually helping people/projects to get away from Ethereum.

#LBRY Credits - Severely Underrated - v0.23 is live
"LBRY is a free, open, and community-run digital marketplace. You own your data. You control the network. Indeed, you are the network."
TRON could seriously pose a threat. But as long as they improve on scalability, they have a long way to go. The marketing is also also non-existent. I won't advise to put too much money on this one.

A Whole Lot of NEM Updates
This one is a huge project with massive market valuations. Still almost nobody is talking about it. So I'm going to link some great news regarding this amazing project.
NEM has partnered with Two4one App to help in blockchain implementation in Africa.
Invox Finance is partnering with Multiversum to utilize the NEM blockchain for their platform.
NEM team has become a member of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK).
NEM joined the launching of Institute of Blockchain Singapore (IBS) - Singapore’s first Blockchain School
hi @vimukthi
Thank you for checking and commenting my latest posts related to resteeming bots. I hope you found it valuable :)
Just checked your profile just to realize that we seem to share a number of interests :)
In particular that we both share a similar passion towards cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology :)
big fat upvote on the way! :)
I will follow you closely :)
Take care, Piotr
Aside from crypto I'm also hugely interested in philosophy, spirituality, Buddhism (Theravada/Zen) and meditation. I'm also glad to see that you've met @jaichai He's one of the earliest friends I made on STEEM.
Thank you again for another kind comment @vimukthi
Im glad to hear that we have common friend. @jaichai is indeed amazing person.
Have a great weekend :)

Hey there! Thanks for giving me a lot to think about, specifically the komodo stuff, haven't heard much about that one before. A little out of my price range to get enough for a free chainzilla, but I might pick up a token or two ;p
Komodo and NEM are both very solid pojects that goes under the radar of many crypto investors. Both projects (especially Komodo) focus much on development and not much on marketing.
Another massively powerful project that I didn't mention is Elastos: https://steemit.com/technology/@vimukthi/elastos-the-most-secure-blockchain-and-why-it-is-a-better-investment-not-necessarily-a-better-project-than-eos
Wow! I have never even heard of this project :/
So, if you don't mind me asking, what is it you actually do for a living? I only mean to say that you frequently provide on steemit what many people charge subscriptions for - your time, research, commitment to honesty and integrity....
Do you charge someone for something sometime?
I don't exactly have a job and I've never charged anyone for my work in my life. I'm living with my parents doing a little bit of crypto trading and posting on STEEM. I've written things in a more detailed manner here: https://steemit.com/informationwar/@vimukthi/i-m-a-genius-and-a-star-student-this-is-why-i-think-going-to-school-was-the-worst-thing-to-happen-to-my-life
I might eventually come to a point where I do become a paid consultant. So far I've tried some Entrepreneurial work which have all ended in people bailing out because they are pussies or people being unable to continue due to various unavoidable reasons. Mostly it's just a case of lack of perseverance ad being total pussies when it comes to doing something new and untested.
So far I'm stuck with STEEM and a small trading account in a total bear market blood bath :-)
Interesting! We are hanging our hopes and hard work on the line as well! Just moved in with Grandma for a spell, but we keep working it from all angles!
There is so much opportunity, so much to learn, so much to do...Just got to get 'er done as they say!
Re:
People are a fickle bunch! If a bear market can scare 'em, its probably best they get out. I know in the dot com crash many thought the internet was 'dead'! They'll be back in at ground level eventually, but that'll have to wait until people like us finish building the foundations!
Cheers! Consider us allies!
It's not just crypto stuff. I've been trying to do many different tings with various groups of people. It was good that some of them left because sometimes people with experience think they know better than everyone while screwing up everything. (Be careful when a programmer touch your UI/UX So much research on psychology/color theory can go down the drain)
I'm trying to collect as many crypto as possible while things are still under the radar. Imagine people figuring out that STEEM is 200 times faster than BTC and is completely free of fees.
I also believe HUNT Token would be a great start for SMTs. But I still haven't claimed any of the SP airdrop yet: https://steemit.com/airdrop/@vimukthi/you-need-to-ask-yourself-this-question-before-you-claim-your-free-hunt-tokens
Gah! I need to pay closer attention to your blog! Will be waiting on this one! I have powered up significantly even in the last two weeks, I'll just trust you to know when the time is apt!
By the way, after the craze died down and the ref link problem was fixed, I have been having resonable success approaching non-tech minded people one by one about the byteball airdrop, walking them through it. Did you ever do a write up with your thoughts on that one?
Consider me an ally in any future projects you may have, I have big plans for the future here and I know I'll probably run some ideas past you!
Blessings!
Please keep posting the NEM news! That is one super-motivated team and a project I really believe in.
Glad you are fan. It's a really good project.
