What is Aadhaar Virtual ID? How to generate?

In today blog post I am going to share some useful information for all Aadhaar card Holders.

Recently Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Launched One important feature in security point of view that is Virtual ID.

Now you will ask What is it?? SO Let me Explain.

What is Aadhaar virtual ID?

Virtual ID is a 16-digit random number mapped with Aadhaar number. It will not be possible to drive Aadhaar number by Virtual ID number. This Virtual ID number can only be generated, replaced or revoked by Aadhaar Cardholder.

Why has Virtual Aadhaar ID been introduced?

This is the step taken by UIDAI to provide multi-layered security to reinforce privacy protection to Aadhaar cardholder.

Now we have to show this Virtual ID number during Authentication in any company, Bank, agencies, small finance banks, Life insurance companies etc.

How to generate Aadhaar virtual ID?

Aadhaar cardholders can generate this unique ID number from the mAadhaar app or the UIDAI website!

after 1st of July 2018.

All you have to ensure is that your mobile number is linked with Aadhaar database so that you can receive OTP or one-time password to generate your virtual ID.
