Austinite killed while on vacation on a Greek island!
22-year-old Bakari Henderson went to Anderson High School and was abroad trying to make his dreams come to life when he was completely beat to death.

AUSTIN - A 22-year-old Austinite was killed early Friday early morning while he was on vacation on a Greek island of Zakinthos.
Officials have actually said that Bakari Henderson, a previous Anderson High School trainee, entered into a battle with 10 others beyond a bar and was killed.
Up until now eight individuals have been detained. Authorities stated two of them, a 34-year-old Greek and a 32-year-old British guy of Serbian origin, were to appear prior to a prosecutor on murder charges.
On Saturday, the AP stated Serbia verified that 6 of its people were arrested in the examination. Serbia's foreign ministry said the detained Serbs were to appear prior to a judge.
Authorities in Greece are still investigating to find out exactly what triggered the fight.
Authorities reports acquired by the Associated Press said the bar was in Lagana, a location of the island known for frequently rowdy habits by young foreign tourists.

As you can picture, our family is devastated by the recent loss of our cherished son Bakari Jaward Henderson. He attended Anderson High School through his junior year and finished from Hyde Park Baptist High School in 2013. Bakari participated in The Eller College of Management at The University of Arizona on a complete academic scholarship and finished on May 12, 2017 with a BS in Company Financing and Entrepreneurship. The summer season after his freshman year at University of Arizona, he interned with the Texas Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Texas State Senate. Bakari remained in Greece working on a picture shoot to introduce his brand-new clothing line when the incredible catastrophe took place.
Bakari enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family, traveling, and meeting new people. He was a big thinker and delighted in creating brand-new company endeavors. Bakari was an inspiration to all he fulfilled. He liked life and lived it to the maximum.

" He was the person who walked campus and knew everyone. He was so figured out in life, I imply he had dreams of beginning a clothing line and opening his own company and he influenced me to work harder," said Henderson's college pal Alyssa White.
