Liverpool seal £39m Mohamed Salah transfer — 3 years after refusing to pay over £10m for him
Liverpool will pay a club-record fee of £39million to complete Mohamed Salah’s on-off capture by the end of the week.
Egypt international Salah was to fly into England on Tuesday night after weeks of tense negotiations finally delivered a breakthrough, with the Anfield giants agreeing to pay Roma around £33.5m down, with up to £5.5m more in add-ons.
The 25-year-old will have a medical on Merseyside before signing a five-year contract thought to be worth around £90,000 a week.
As a liverpool fan, i didn't want this deal to go through. He's a tricky dribbler but not the fastest at all.
He has a good goalscoring ratio though so that's good. Now that he's here, i'll still support him.
