Bangladesh Bangabandhu-1 satellites are waiting for space launch.

The Bangladesh government has spent around three billion crores in the entire process of creating and launching this satellite.

The Government of Bangladesh is watching the matter as part of National Pride or National glory. From the United States of Florida, when the satellite runs towards the space, the government has organized several events to celebrate the moment.

Earlier, 56 countries in the world sent satellites to space.

Now the question is, what is the probability of commercially benefiting from this satellite? Will this satellite take advantage of?

Related to the technology says that in some cases this satellite may be useful.

Extending telecommunication and internet services in remote areas,
For those who share information using V-SAT,
Broadcasting of television channels in Bangladesh, and
Develop DTH services that currently include only the cable TV connection.
Sirajul Haider, who is involved in internet business, says, "The most benefit is only for TVs. Triple play - that means three services can be found in DTH, Internet and calling, together with DTH, so that it will be possible to spread the facility in remote areas."

It is believed that Bangladeshi television channels will be a big subscriber of Bangabandhu-1 satellite.

Private Television Owners Association or Atco's Senior Vice President and Ektter TV's Managing Director Mozammel Haque said that the TV channels of Bangladesh are currently using a foreign satellite called Apster Seven.

He said, after paying foreign satellite fare, every television station in Bangladesh spent 24 thousand dollars a month. As a result, the total cost of each television channel is $ 15 million per month for foreign satellite rentals.

The initiative will be taken to launch Bangabandhu 1 satellite at 2:45 pm on Saturday.
Bangladesh TV channels to rent this satellite?
"We must take it, for example, stay at a rented house, but the house has never been mine. But if Bangabandhu fares on satellite, Bangladesh will earn from it," said Mozammel Haque.

Abu Sayeed Khan, an expert in the telecom sector of Bangladesh, said that Bangabandhu has been invested in satellite targeting Bangladesh and international markets.

The government of Bangladesh thinks that the cost of this satellite will be expended in next seven years.

Mr. Khan thinks, "If this is conducted with professionalism then this investment is not a difficult task."

Where's the challenge?
There are two challenges in the Bangabandhu satellite. Firstly; Its position and second; The distance of

Bangladeshi TV channels currently using the satellite called Apster is located in 90 degrees above Bangladesh. Through the Apster Seven, there is a facility of broadcasting to Dubai on one side and Malaysia on the other.

Mozammel Haque said the location of Bangabandhu satellite will be located at 119 degree in Indonesia and 45 degree Angle from Bangladesh. As a result, this satellite will not be able to reach directly to the Middle East. Another satellite has to reach the Middle East.

But still, this is not a big problem, Mr. Huq.

"If it was above our heads, we could go to Dubai on one side and Malaysia on the other."

But if the signal is good enough then it is not a problem, Mr. Huq think. He said, television channels can use Bangabandhu-1 satellite for three months experimental.

He said that if they are satisfied with the broadcast quality they will use this satellite safely.

It is believed that Bangladeshi television channels will be a big subscriber of Bangabandhu-1 satellite.
The satellite has to be allocated from the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) for any position.

"But despite the fact that those governments are taking over the top of our head, ITU has repeatedly asked for the place to be allocated for Bangladesh, no government has thought about it till 2008-10, so we did not find the place above us," said Mr. Huq.

In Bangabandhu-1 satellite, half of the total 40 transponders are planning to rent to different countries. Bangladeshi companies will use the remaining half of the 20 transponders.

Of these, 12 transponders are allocated for DTH (Direct-to-home) company. But if the two companies do not rent this satellite, then half of it will be used unused, Mr. Huq said.

He says DTH companies are unlikely to get the Bangabandhu satellite rental.

Where's the limitations?

Telecom expert Abu Sayeed Khan thinks Bangladesh's limitations in the field of satellite management are one. That is the operation.

He thinks technology is not a matter here. Rather, it is the most important of the business to operate on the basis of technology. There is no threat from technical side.

If the management is just like then 'success'
