Random thought - New Year, New Me

Hello all!

I’m not a huge fan of setting New Years resolutions. I have tried in the past and either have disappointed myself or forgotten I had even set any. Are you the type to set a New Years resolution or are you the type to say “screw it” and do your normal routine? If you are the type to set goals during the New Years, have you completed them or stopped half way through before hitting your goal? If you are the type to not do a New Years resolution, any reason why? Just curious how others feel about this topic. I’m sure Facebook has begun to have its annual “New Year, New Me” meme’s and posts. Do you have any favorite meme’s for this topic?

I know I’m kinda new but I figured why not start a topic and see how far it can go and this just happen to pop up in my mind. Forgive me if it has been done before or posted previously. Figured it would be a funny post to see how many can participate and bring some comedy to the table.

I used to fail miserably with my New Year resolutions until about 5 years ago and I have never failed on a New Years resolution since then
I resolved never to make a New Years Resolution again :)

I don't make New Years Resolutions. I think they set you up for failure. I have a bucket list instead. Things that I want to do and accomplish. I'm more likely to accomplish things on that list and at the end of the year I can look back at the positive things I have done.

I like that idea better! I should put together a good bucket list and this way I can feel a little more accomplished when I mark one off! =)

Exactly! Why set yourself up for failure?
