Fundraiser For Coinomi Support

Fundraiser Rundown:

Austin here, and today I would like to go over some of the specifics related to the fundraiser being held by the NewYorkCoin team in order to secure support from Coinomi after NewYorkCoin forks in mid to late October.

Many people have asked me to provide them with info on the fundraiser so I decided to sit down and compile a resource for my fellow Steemians that provides great insight into the fundraiser efforts being held by the NewYorkCoin team.

Why Coinomi?

As many of you know, Coinomi is a wonderful multi wallet platform available on Android and Apple that provides users with the ultimate ease of use when it comes to NewYorkCoin, or any other coin that Coinomi offers on their platform for that matter. Coinomi support moving forward is crucial in making sure that the merchants who accept NewYorkCoin have a fast and user friendly interface to instantly send and receive NewYorkCoin. Coinomi put a request of 10 BTC on the table in order for them to implement the forked code into their database and ensure a smooth transition, however, the Dev Team negotiated with Coinomi and was able to bring that 10 BTC request down to 2 BTC for their support.

The Mining Rig Giveaway works like this: "Every $5 worth of cryptocurrency within a donation counts as 1 entry. For example: $15 worth of cryptocurrency donated counts as 3 entries. Each $5 worth of cryptocurrency donated entitles the donor to a raffle ticket. At the end of the fundraiser, a ticket stub will be drawn and the winner of the mining rig will be announced."

  These bounties are a series of efforts being lead by the NewYorkCoin social media team on Discord. These bounty efforts offer NewYorkCoin community members the opportunity to earn chunks of NewYorkCoin just for completing social media tasks that involve sharing and posting information about the fundraiser.
