If wind farms all had sufficient storage capacity that would change everything. Wind would be a viable alternative then.
That is the trick, how much storage is sufficient?

Kind of like a car battery...enough to 'do the job' when the alternator is not turning.
I have yet to see some of the technical details, therefore it is unclear if the batteries will last 4 minutes, 4 hours or 4 days.
