Global temperature fluctuates; nothing new there. Wind farms are great in places that have wind energy to harvest. I guess that's commonsense, right?

No, that doesn't tell me much but it certainly raises more questions, such as: Are existing wind farms in and of themselves profitable? Under what set of circumstances could wind farms be profitable in and of themselves? How do the entitites doling out the subsidies profit from subsidizing wind farms?
