NFL 2017 Week 4: Thursday night preview, weekend schedule, TV, live scoreboard, updates

in #nfl7 years ago

The Chicago Bears are fresh off a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers needed a late rally to beat the Cincinnati Bengals.

Thursday night's matchup between the Bears and the Packers renews the division rivalry, and last week's victory by the Bears provides doubt in a game once viewed as a lock after the Bears' lackluster losses to start the season.

The game is scheduled for 8:25 p.m. with coverage on CBS and the NFL Network.

The Packers are ranked near the bottom of the NFL in run defense (114 yards per game) and they go up against a Bears team where Jordan Howard rushed for 138 of his team's 220 yards last week. Howard also had two touchdowns.

Chicago quarterback Mike Glennon has not overwhelmed and there are still calls for No. 1 draft pick Mitch Trubisky to take over. Glennon has three touchdown passes and the Bears average about 183 yards passing per game.

Meanwhile, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers rolls on, throwing for nine touchdowns in three games and averaging 291 passing yards per game.

As far as injuries, cornerback Davon House (Green Bay) did not participate in practice this week and neither did Chicago safety Quintin Demps or linebacker Nicholas Kwiatkoski.nfl1.JPGnfl2.JPG
