Why

The reasons are totally subjective as they would vary person to person. In my case, it’s simple. Helping people, improving lives and making others happy is something I have always wanted to do in my life. It’s like an inborn trait. I can always feel the pain of others and instinctively get the urge to do something about it.

A really important reason in my case could be that I have seen poverty since childhood; in family, neighborhood and in friends. So, once you experience something, you can definitely feel and think about it on another level.
Otherwise the reasons could be:

Religion.
Self Satisfaction.
You’re fortunate and they are not.
Relieve their agony and pain.
To make a difference in someone’s life.
These are just a couple of reasons, there could be many many more!
