Introducing myself - Artificial Intelligence NHS (England)

Hi All
Nice to join this great community @starkerz introduced me a while back and has encouraged me to share what I am working on etc.

I have found lots of interesting content already and I look forward to learning and sharing from you.

I am keenly interested in healthcare delivery in England (UK). I work for NHS England - I look at how change happens and how you can speed up the spread and adoption of not just technology but innovative services.

Its complex and I have lots more to learn. I am very interested in learning more about blockchain. I used to mine bitcoin many moons ago.

Before joining public service 4 years ago I ran a technology company that I sold that focused on "Mixed Reality", computer vision and anything that go me excited.

How can we collaborate - what shall I learn? Say hello and look forward to connecting with many of you.

    Hello domcushnan! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

      Hey Dom, let me know when you post something, and I will take a look and even upvote it if its really good ;))
      In the mean time, I recommend you take a look at other medical groups on steem, @air-clinic is a good start, but I am sure you will find many health care groups on this blockchain! start interacting with them and see what connections you can make. If its not here, you can find ways to write about it yourself or find developers who can help you build the app to really change the world! good luck!
