BeautyPlus_20180612140140_org.jpgThe June 12 battle was not for men of frail will. Many died; they did not betray the cause and they did not desert the battle. Instead they endure the heat and fought to the end. Their weapon were there power of ideas, intellect, strong will and determination.

After years of agitation, pro-democracy forces can now have a sign of relief. Their clamor for recognition for the acclaimed winner of the June 12 1993 presidential election. Chief MKO Abiola, is being honored officially today with conferment of posthumous National award of the grand commander of the Federal republic (GCFR) and Grand commander of the order of the Niger (GCON) on chief Gani Fawehinmi.

Today, we want to honor the blood of innocent souls that was she'd and sacrificed for the brutality of politics. Enough is Enough; We are not born to be sacrificed on the serving dish of politics. This is not what we bargained for, this is not what great Pa awolowo, Pa Nnamdi Azikiwe, Tafawa Balewa struggled for.

In this admiration I will like to remind us today that all hope is not lost because the blood of the slain will forever speak. So also all those who died for the course of Nigerian election are crying and asking for a free and fair elections on their once beloved country, election deviod of thuggery, election deviod of wanton killings, to bring the dividends of democracy and give hope to the deprived living in rural areas, put food on our table, provide infrastructural developments to the people. That's what the slain and the living are presently yearning for.

The blood of the slain is crying and yearning for Justice and fairness, while we yearn for peace. Let all Nigerians join hands together and advocate for peace, and spread peace everywhere.

President Donald Trump never rode on the blood of dead souls on his way to the white house, Francois Holland never did likewise, so also we can replicate this in all facet of our political struggles in Nigeria.
Today, we remember the roles of the martyrs of democracy, those who protested the annulment of the June 12.

Now, the labour of these heroes past have not been in vain.

Late MKO Abiola, Late Kudirat Abiola, Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi (SAN), late senator Abraham Adesanya, Late Dr. Beko Ransome-Kuti, Femi Falana (SAN), Femi Aborisade, the Late Chima Ubani, Late Chief Anthony Enahoro, Late Chief Adekunle Ajasin, Late Bola Ige, Late Chief Adebayo Adefarati, Late Alhaji Lam Adesina, Late sir Olaniwun Ajayi, Late Pa Solanke Onasanya, Others Include: Prof. Wole Soyinka, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Segun Adegoke, Chief Frank Kokori, Prof. Humphrey Nwosu, Chief Ganiyu Dawodu, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Kofoworola Akerele-Bucknor, Dr. Femi Okunrounmu, Chief Olabiyi Durojaye, Chief Cornelius Adebayo, etc.
