The igbo/ ibo tribe of nigeria are located in the southern part of nigeria, although we are united by one language , we also have some variations in our dialects.

you can take for example the people from owerri, ebonyi, enugu, abia states e.t.c of the country have some difference in the way the speak their ibo/igbo ,but only one who is a core igbo man could tell the difference between these sets of people.

i wouldnt want to bore us with to many talks about the igbo man and the way he speaks, interacts with the society , today i would want to fiocus more on the alphabets of the igbo people

THE ALPHABETS OF THE IGBO NATION

The alphabets of the igbo people consists of 36 alphabets unlike that of the english aphabets which has 26 letters, and lets see what we have here.

Learn Igbo Letters of the Alphabet

The first thing about learning a language would be the alphabets of the language.

In Igbo Language, there are about 36 letters of the alphabet:

A a B b CH ch D d E e F f G g GB gb GH gh GW gw H h I i Ị ị J j

K k KP kp KW kw L l M m N n Ń ń NW nw NY ny O o Ọ ọ P p R r S s SH sh

T t U u Ụ ụ V v W

we can also to take a count to see if we are right cus i wouldnt want to give a bad information ,

and i would also want to give us an example of how they sound in case we want to pronounce words with it

a= sounds like apple.. b=sounds like bee.. ch= sounds like church or chidinmma in igbo which means God is good. d =sounds like , dig.. e= sounds like ate, or even egg depending on how it was used.. f= sounds like finish..
