I have decided to use a biological term for my post this morning. I noticed some Steemians are all about what they would get from Steemit and not what they have to offer Steemit. If we continue to collect and not give, there will be a time where you wont be able to collect again since you have collected everything.
How do you want other to receive? Others that are even adding value to the community. This is so unfair as it is not good to think of one's selfish interest alone. Steemit is all about putting up of good and original contents and there are rules on must obey.

Mostly when in discord channels, i notice some Steemians will just come and be like what can i benefit from this server? what can you do for me? should i dm my link? These are selfish questions to ask. Why not ask what can the server benefit from me? what can in do for you? do you want to dm me your link?

This is a community and everyone needs everyone to survive. While rising up, bring a fellow Steemian along and that fellow Steemian will draw another fellow Steemian. The steemit community shouldn't be turned into a predatory community where only one person will be benefiting from the other at the expense of the other.

• Spare sometime everyday to visit other people's blog. read their story and they did well let them know in the comment box, drop a tip and if not, you can take your time to give lectures to the affected person. Always try to encourage other people

• Try putting up a good content yourself

• Do not even try to spam people's posts

• Learn to be patient

• Be persistent

• Be competetive

• Treat your followers well. Always reply their comments

• Dont just think of how to build followers alone. Be a follower too

• Stop asking the question how can I?, ask the question how can we?
