Image source In every society there are two types of people, those who prefer to keep opinions for themselves and others who prefer to share their opinions. We all know that thousands of brains work better than one, so by sharing an opinion we're giving someone else the chance to solve a problem. Read below a fictional storyline created by me as I try to explain the importance of sharing what we think.

In a state in Nigeria there was a governor whom no one liked because they said that he did nothing to improve the city. One day a new inhabitant moved to town and in the first days he asked about the situation of the city.
The people in turn put firewood in the fire when they said it was all the governor's fault. The man in revolt decided to go and say good things to the governor.

"His Excellency, the city is falling apart, almost all roads have holes ..." said the new inhabitant of the state enraged.
"You are the first person to tell me this, tell me the problems that need to be solved that I will try to solve them" said the governor in admiration of the attitude of the man.

The man then spoke of all the problems he remembered and in a short time the problems were corrected. Surely if man were to keep this to himself, as he did all of the state, the state would still be falling apart.

Moral of history, never expect problems to solve themselves. Whether in personal or professional life saving opinion for yourself is the same as discovering something incredible and leaving hidden in a chest. But this is what usually happens, people hide what they think for the boss or partner and then leave talking badly behind. That is why it is important to have an attitude of always sharing the opinion, only so it is possible to reach a solution.
