Nihilistic Rainbow #4 - A new round of the satirical poem contest is starting
Round 4 is starting and all of you can join the contest and win some SBDs.
Every animal can theoretically go where it wants to go. After the forest comes the field comes the water comes the sand comes the forest comes the field and so on. But then there is the human being. Suddenly there is a fence behind the forest. And soldiers. And printed paper. And seriousness. But at the same time the human being claims to be the smartest of all animals ...

You know what is really bizarre? I had a conversation about this very topic today. Reading a book that was literally about Endarkenment and now this. I am destined to enter your poetry contests.

Hey if you don't mind me asking, how is the competition judged?
With philosophical and satirical weights. The weightiest poems get scored, but sometimes the poem is lighter than air and just floats away, thats bonus points.
Haha my lines are so heavy, you could do bench presses with them. (Not really thoughsadness)

Actually, not so. Chimps have borders, too. Groups of male chimpanzees patrol in the areas that border the areas of neighbouring groups. If they see chimps from the other groups & if they are more numerous, they may attack.
Not to forget that lots of other animal species are also very territorial & attack intruders. Humans are not so special, they just do it on a greater scale.
Sure, but their borders are not fixed at exactly the same place with fences, passports and this for centuries. Of course I've choosen the title to be quite provocative, and if you take it seriously there are borders everywhere. But not that kind of bureaucratic and totalitarian borders as in the world of humans. In the world of animals it's more about who is nice to who. In the world of humans it's just about which flag you are "part of", and the border is created by someone autoritharian hundreds of years ago, in a completly different world than now.
