Solbakken - my childhoods paradise.
This is my grandparents house in Ullsfjord were my mother grew up. I have spent all my vacations during childhood here. It was a happy time exploring the spectacular nature with my cousins. Fishing in the sea and fresh water surrounded by the majestic Lyngen alps.
Solbakken seen from another angle. The barn to the right. When my mother grew up (late 50s-60) most people made a living of agriculture and fishing. The sea was the main route and was without a road until 1963.
Shot from Solbakken towards Vågen. Bad weather this weekend with temperatures around 5 degrees.
Lyngen alps.
Panorama wiew from Solbakken. My mothers cabin to the left. The weather was better yesterday.
Thanks for visiting my post!

Great memorization...bro @solbandans.. When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind...
