A True GAME of HODLING! - NOWCOIN Begins
NOWCOIN is one of the newest market games to hit the blockchain! I believe that everyone should join the NOWCOIN game and really see where this project goes. The NOWCOIN company is taking a different avenue from "other cryptocurrencies" and have created a coin that starts out as a game...but the coin itself is much deeper than that. Let me explain.
Many of the current cryptocurrencies on the ethereum blockchain are a way for companies to airdrop coins and conduct ICOs in order to gain money for their startup business. They are not actually a currency that is being created for global adoption at all. They are an investment, or a bet more like it, that the company will be worth something in the future. NEWSFLASH - Most of these will go to 0.
NOWCOIN is different. NOWCOIN is looking to build an ecosystem of coin holder and put their coin in circulation. Most of the coins on the ethereum blockchain are not doing this AT ALL. They are not trying to be a true coin and are more like a stock. NOWCOIN want to build this ecosystem and have those coins out there in circulation when they role out the next stage of their project. As stated in their whitepaper (which you can find here https://nowcoingame.com/NowCoin-White-Paper.pdf ), there are not really that many CURRENCY CRYPTOCOINS besides bitcoin, bitcoin cash, litecoin, dash and a few others. Most of the other ones are not concentrated on real world adoption and are made for a business.
The inventors created an idea for the NOWCOIN ecosystem in the beginning and from that was born the NOWCOIN game. The premise of this game is to buy, hold, trade, and hodl NOWCOIN from now and through the duration of the game. By creating this NETWORK of HOLDERS the ecosystem will then be put into place for merchant to jump in and start utilizing this community that is already built upon this NOWCOIN currency. So, How Do We Play?
Well the NOWCOIN game is based on the bitshares blockchain and is available to be bought and sold at https://wallet.bitshares.org/#/market/NOWCOIN_BTS
It is currently trading around 2 BTS/NOWCOIN with recently it being above 4 BTS/NOWCOIN
So once you buy your NOWCOINs, next is the easy part!
YOU HODL!
And are rewarded. The reward process occurs on the 1st and 15th of every month. On the 1st month you are rewarded with 3% of your holdings as well as on the 15th. IF you are in the top 1000 holders then you get a BONUS! On the 1st of every month you will not only get 3% but you will get an extra 5% on top of that so it is very important and a really good idea to stay in the top 1000 holders at the beginning of every month!
The game will end next July, or when the reward pool drops to 10 million tokens, and this is when it is imperative that you will be in the top 1000 holders because the remaining reward pool will be split and airdropped on the top 1000 accounts at that time.
