An update from the CEO about the way forward moving to an eth side chain or Node way of doing things, as opposed to the DPOS system wasn't liked by a few witnesses and they decided to close down their witnesses in a huff... without giving enough prior notice to bring up enough more to fulfil the 21 witnesses required.
This halted the chain unfortunately..
The CEO has been funding the project out of his own pocket for a very long time.
The details of what happened ought to still be viewable in Vit telegram.
Hence the future is uncertain for now.
If ever wish to hop on a discord voice chat channel I'm more than happy to chat about all the ins and outs with you:)

Thank you for your answer. Its really bad and makes me very sad because i invested a really lot of money (the kind of enough to buy a new car) and tought this project had a bright future. I'm no longer in that telegram channel because the CEO blocked me when i started raising questions a few months ago :/
I don't know who he can say that his funding the project out of his own pocket when he made millions in the ICO.
Do you think its dead forever? How can i contact you on discord?

Technically, the CEO had been funding the project himself at own cost, 'reportedly'
The smart contract had a clause in it of a refund policy. Unfortunately due to the change in price of ETH and downturn this left little actual funds (after refunds)in the project itself.
I will have to go find the SC address itself sometime and review this, as such happenings will be clearly shown by the transactions and clarity in the transaction within said 'smart contract' for the ICO.
There were also things such as the Mindgeek / Pornhub let-down where they pretty much screwed us over and wanted 500k USD to fix it.
The discord links stay valid for 24 hrs for one to join. (this is vit's official community channel)
