Snow Fairy, handcut collage 70/50cm.
This is my second entry for the new amazing fantasy art contest, organized by @yanes94, an experienced illustrator at the field of fantasy art and sponsored by @ntopaz, an art platform that supports and gives space to artists of all fields to present their creations.
This time i would like to present an older artwork from my Portraits of Nature handcut collage series. I used the same pattern of butterflies to tie the artworks and combined it with a winter mountain landscape. I could imagine her as a winter fairy bringing colour with her wings at snowy winter
day.
Almost haven't recognized the winter landscape used, until read the full description. Very creative way to present the Winter Fairy!

It was quite the lesson:)
Amazing portrait of Snow Fairy @georgeboya It looks like stained glass art.

Thank you very much @livvu:) I am really happy that you recognised my stained glass technique:) When i started making collage artworks 15 years ago my idea was to make a stained glass but instead of using glass pieces, i used paper. I made most of my early artwork in this way and it was quite the journey:)
It's great that you find your unique art style and you are really good at it @georgeboya61 I'm still learning and looking for my style. Sorry for late reply, I was busy last few day only went online to do curation work.
Thank you for your kind words @livvu, but @georgeboya61?, i am not that old yet, lol. I think style comes in a natural way and through a process of making a lot of artwork. I am sureou will find you own too in time, you have a unique personality and this matters a lot in art:) Don't worry about late replies, we are all busy with life, i hope you are fine:)
Yes you are right @georgeboya I need to focus more on art. Sorry for my mistake :D
Dont worry about it @livvu, i was just joking:) But i believe practice is vital, i dont know how i kept my style through out the changes i made in my medium. First handcut portraits then more narrative creations after that digital. I was just making artwork every day:)
You inspire me much @georgeboya i'll try to make artwork everyday
Wow Dear George, It's an ideal entry for the contest! I love the details, it's really a lovely design.
However, according to the contest rules only new artworks are allowed. But don't worry, please edit this entry to move it to general section (CR) 🙏💙

I am really happy that you like her @smeralda:) I will edit the artwork and move it to the general section:)
Very interesting and creative piece of art. I like her wings being so busy with colorful butterflies and then the calmness in her body in form of snowy mountains. She looks like she was very satisfied with the snow around the world today :)
Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend!
Thank you so much for your kind words and interest you shown on my artwork @delishtreats:) She has a serene look because she is feeling comfortable in her enviroment:) Have a perfect weekend too my friend:)
Oh! dear George pleased to see your second entry
I love fairies and this is beautiful, I had never seen a winter fairy, I wonder if she will not be cold?
You make me very happy sweet Carmen:) Do not worry about the winter fairies, the cold weather is like summer for them:):)
Ah ok, I'm glad to know that this kind of fairies do not suffer with the winter. XD
Such an amazing stained-glass affect, wow, love it.
Thank you so much, i will try to post more from my stained glass era, or even better i will rework the old artworks into new digital creations:)
