Nvidia Settles Class-Action Lawsuit About the GTX 970
In another move against deceptive business practices, Nvidia has agreed to a preliminary settlement that dictates they pay out $30 to each buyer of the 970 along with $1.3 million in attorney's fees. The lawsuit is based on the fact that Nvidia advertised the card as having 4GB of VRAM, but the card actually had .5GB of that 4GB in a configuration that was much slower to access than the rest.
