Mitu' - CLAIMS that President Obama did NOT encourage undocumented immigrants to vote. They attempt to cover their asses to show they and the president are NOT encouraging non citizens to vote illegally. In fact, Obama DOES SAY LEGAL CITIZENS but is not clear with Gina's question and he equivocates the point by NOT coming out and STOPPING her when she decides to change the legal definition of "CITIZENS" to include ANYONE (who is IN this country making a contribution to it - whether documented or NOT. -in other words, Legally a citizen or NOT)

The interview, granted to the YouTube network MiTú, was intended to debunk voting myths in the Latino community; (Here' I'd like to point out a Logical Fallacy. They SPEAK AS IF THERE IS A SINGLE VOICE THAT SPEAKS FOR AN ENTIRE LOOSELY DEFINED GROUP OF PEOPLE which Gina Terms "the entire community" (near end of this excerpt - which in this case clearly means ALL Hispanics. You should know that this would include an awful lot of countries as well as US Citizens themselves.) To be clear about this point. Does anyone ANYWHERE EVER refer to "The WHITE VOTE" or WHITE people as "THE WHITE COMMUNITY?" No. Of course not. In fact, Hillary Clinton would never consider herself in the SAME community (or to have the same voice) as Donald Trump for example. So WHY do people suddenly lose all sense of REASON and LUMP everyone who just happens to have a Spanish speaking background into a SINGLE COMMUNITY? I know PEOPLE FROM COLOMBIA who PRETEND not to be able to understand the Spanish spoken by Mexican Spanish speakers in Los Angeles! [They say -quote- THAT'S NOT SPANISH] ?! I also Know WHITE skinned Puerto Ricans who HATE BLACK skinned Dominicans - both are Hispanic technically. Spaniards speak Spanish. Are they included in "Hispanic community" or are they "European"? I mean after all for a very long time they were not only NOT considered an underdog group but rather the Super Power of the entire known civilized world. Are they brown or white? Are they all Democrats? See how ridiculous this argument can become?

If you don't believe there are WHITE MEXICANS or CHILEANS or ARGENTINIANS then you clearly have never watched a Univision Soap Opera. What's more important is that They consider themselves WHITE, by the way. So the idea that there is a HISPANIC COMMUNITY is not just utter nonsense - it is a Logical Fallacy. Gina responds to Obama saying that she should vote if she has friends who are undocumented by saying her vote is a vote "For the ENTIRE COMMUNITY". What a load of utter nonsensical propaganda.

Just like the fact that there is no actual thing as a WHITE community or a BLACK community or a GAY community. I'm sorry. THERE IS NO SUCH ANIMAL. They are purporting to say ostensibly that ONE voice by an individual SPEAKS for an entire group? How absurd can ones' argument possibly be? The word "community" in other words, is in fact, actually a buzz word propped up by people with an slanted agenda to make casual listeners to their bullshit falsely conclude that there is CONSENSUS among all members of a loosely defined and completely non-existent actual group made up of incredibly diverse ethnic backgrounds, opinions, political persuasions and cultures. Just the single fact that one speaks Spanish does not make a person identical in beliefs, background, culture or ideology and to even SUGGEST such a thing is Bias and RACIAL profiling in the extreme sense of the word. Which by the way is the very thing those who PUSH such ideas are likely to be the most vocally opposed to. The whole idea of this non-existent 'community' is a "LOGICAL FALLACY" of gargantuan proportions. Carry on:

In this video and the website by Mitu' they attempt to backtrack [because the interview backfired badly on them] and CLAIM that Obama did NOT intend to invite NON-citizens to VOTE illegally. Technically that may be TRUE since he DOES say: Legal Voters and "you are a Legal Citizen" - HOWEVER Metu' accuses YouTube Conservatives and conservative websites of EDITING Obama's words to make it appear that he DOES mean this. What's interesting is that every single website and YouTube video is UNEDITED. The only thing EDITED is Mitu's TRANSCRIPT version right below their OWN video where they attempt to cover their asses. They EDIT OUT not only some of her most important quips, but they also EDIT OUT Obamas. Now why the heck would they do that?
Here is what is REALLY said. (With my notes added and marked as such)

First Obama says that the "Powers that BE are counting on us giving our Power away". He's referring to caving in and NOT voting based on Fear. Did I miss something? Isn't HE (who was POTUS at the time) the very definition of the POWERS THAT BE? ?? Oh wait! I see. He's actually referring to the conspiracy of the "DEEP STATE" - you know. The ONE the democrats claim does not exist.

Gina Rodriguez says there is a fear of voting among “millennials, Dreamers, undocumented uhh citizens, [and] I call them citizens because they contribute to this country, are Fearful of Voting. So IF I vote, will immigration know where I live? Will they come for my family and deport us”

[My NOTE: you can TELL by her "uhh" and immediate qualification of her term that for a split second realizes she is re-defining the word citizens to mean people here without legal citizen status granted by U.S. Law]

Then Obama replies with: NOT TRUE. ...and the REASON IS, First of all when YOU Vote, you are a citizen yourself.

[My NOTE: They EDITED OUT the above statement by Obama. Hmm wonder why? Let's examine his statement. They edited this out of the transcript because it sounds pretty damning. But I'll RESCUE Obama for them. Maybe (maybe) he was saying Gina - WHEN YOU vote (and I know you are a citizen) so you won't have to worry about ICE. However that's NOT what Gina meant. Sorry Obama. WHY? Because she knows that a legal citizen does NOT have to worry about voting and then having ICE follow her to deport her because after all SHE IS A CITIZEN...DUH... So Obama you missed her real question which was actually: IF I am not a citizen do I need to worry about ICE. YES Gina - you do. WHY? Because voting is illegal unless you are a citizen...period.]

And there is not a situation where the voting rolls somehow are transferred over and people start investigating, et cetera. The sanctity of the vote is strictly confidential in terms of who you voted for, if you have a family member who is maybe undocumented then you have an even greater reason to vote …
Gina interjects with: "This has been a HUGE fear especially in this election." (yes Gina...because those meany Republicans don't really like it when ILLEGAL VOTES are cast. But have no fear there are lots and lots of Republican Hispanic voters that will outweigh your vote!)

Obama replies with: "The reason that FEAR IS PROMOTED is because "THEY" don't want "PEOPLE" voting.

[MY NOTE: Did OBAMA just promote a completely ridiculous and provable CONSPIRACY. (theory?) WHY YES HE DID.
HE just said "THEY" (the mysterious THEY word) which we ASSUME must mean those horrible NAZI republicans... DON'T WANT PEOPLE VOTING. WOW really? Amazing theory! DID YOU KNOW Republicans (THEY) DON'T WANT PEOPLE VOTING? I surely did not.

Let's be fair. WHO is he really talking about when he says "People". Well clearly he doesn't mean the PEOPLE who would vote republican. Please Obama explain to me how Legal citizens voting support undocumented Family members who CANNOT Vote? I mean WHAT IF they have a different view point? I mean I HAVE a different viewpoint from every single person in my family. Oh wait maybe just maybe THAT'S because I have white privilege. But wait...My skin is really really dark. That doesn't matter the only thing that counts is that your ethnic background is WHITE. But wait... I am not SURE what my ethnic background is. And what if one of my family is in Prison and cannot vote? Does that mean MY VOTE counts as HIS VOTE??? WTF are you actually saying anyway?]

So in conclusion... as you can see --> WHAT IF me or a family member VOTES illegally do we have to WORRY that ICE is coming after us? I mean because LEGAL voters clearly would have NO REASON PERIOD TO FEAR ICE deporting them after voting! NO don't worry. You can vote because your ONE vote speaks for entire countries since all Hispanics (and Blacks and Gays etc. etc.) all only have ONE OPINION.
