Occultism and Crypto - An Update

Hey everyone,

If you've been following my blog here at Steemit for any length of time you will have noticed a lot of blockchain gaming posts mixed in and more often than not overwhelming the esoteric and occult themed posts the last couple of months. Blockchain technology is something I've been interested in and playing around with for about six years now. This is something I have occasionally posted about but when I created a couple posts about the blockchain game Steem Monsters (aka Splinterlands) I got more engagement and higher reward payouts than usual. That motivated me to create similar content and I have enjoyed doing it.

At this point I think it makes sense to shard that special interest off into a separate channel of it's own and to keep this space focused on the more esoteric topics that I have been sharing since the start of this blog. To that end, I have created Crypto Spore. It could be considered an alter ego, an additional brand that I own and operate, or an additional window into my life and interests. And just to jumpstart the return to more exclusively occult related content, and for anyone who jumped on here for the crypto stuff and don't really know this side of me as much, here are a few of the most popular videos I've made on esoteric subjects:

This is my intro to the practice of Necromancy, or working with the spirits of the dead. It's an edgy topic and there isn't a lot of good information out there, which is probably why this is a popular one. I hope my jovial yet serious treatment of necromancy can dispel some of the fear that surrounds the topic.

In this video I explain the three main types of Sex Magick. Again, an edgy topic that I think a lot of people are curious about. I go into detail on the different reasons people do each type and how each type is done.

This is a public lecture I gave in Toronto, Ontario Canada on the subject of Lucifer. I break down the meaning of the name, how it's different from Satan and explore similarities with different characters in the mythology of other religions throughout history. If you want more, check the video description on YouTube for a playlist that has additional content from that same lecture.

This is another lecture I did, this time at the University of Toronto. In this one I discuss The Meaning of Occultism in the New Era. In this world we find ourselves in, much of what was once been considered "occult" (a word that literally means "hidden") is now understood by science. I explore several examples, such as the sleep labs dedicated to studying lucid dreaming and institutions that have figured out how to trigger astral projections.
