Eky momong

The blue sea combined with white sand with a row of hills in the distance, spoils the eyes of anyone who sees it. Views like this are easy to find in marine tourism areas, along the coastline of Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar. Dozens of locations have been managed for tourists.

What is known as Eky Momong Beach

Eky Momong beach is included in the area of Gampong Meunasah Balee, Lhoknga District. From downtown Banda Aceh, it can be reached in about 45 minutes by motorbike or car. After the asphalt road near the location, visitors must pass a small uphill road, full of rocks and mud if it rains, for 800 meters.

Located at the bottom of the hill, the stretch of white sand offers its own charm for visitors. Perfect location for selfies. Swim, go ahead, although not recommended too far, because of the many sharp rocks there. However, the manager has prepared a special location for children, making it a kind of pool bordered by rocks to be safe from waves.

When we visited the place, last Sunday (22/9), there were a lot of tourists. If you're hungry, don't worry, some food menus such as Mi Aceh combined with young coconut, are perfect for filling the stomach. Guaranteed, you will not be bored here.
