Germany, Cologne - The Cathedral and the Love Bridge, travel blog

Remembering my visit to Germany last year , I share to you some of the beautiful pictures of the lovely Cathedral and the Hohenzollern bridge near the Cathedral.

We first went to the bridge that is right next to the Cologne railway station, lovers have filled the wall of the bridge with love locks with their names on it.

The Cathedral, a beautiful piece of architecture both from the outside and the inside,

It is hard to believe that this was built way back in the year 1473 with construction starting from the year 1248.

It barely managed to survive both the 1st and 2nd world wars.
