OCD DAILY - Issue #201

Welcome to the 201st issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #201 highlights content from ten (10) Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steemit to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found ten new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steemit users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Many stories are popping up every day on this platform, some are good, and some are worse but only a handful of them are remarkable, and those are really worth a read. Just imagine how drinking and talking with an orangutan might look like because that’s precisely what this hooking post is about so feel free to check it out.

If you go far enough from the city, you will get closer and closer to nature, and at some point, you will find yourself in its heart, that’s probably how this user arrived in this gorgeous place. This place is breathtaking, making you feel in a strong connection with nature and the past, no wonder why the movie Avatar was inspired by this location.

Not everybody is fortunate enough to provide for themselves and have a decent life, but with a little effort, we can all make an impact. Sharing is caring they say, and because we’re in a better position, why not help a bit others too like this user just did, you should check out his good deeds.

Having a self-sustainable lifestyle, where you’re dependent on no one and nothing is probably the closest thing to freedom but that, of course, comes with specific responsibilities. Living in a tent on a mountain is never easy, especially that food is hard to keep fresh, you always need water, and there’s no electricity, but as seen in the post below, it might be worth it.

You probably saw many traveling posts so far on Steem, but I haven’t seen anything like this one so far. Eight months of honeymoon and constant traveling to new places may seem like fun, but attending events like this colorful one makes it even better so make sure to check the post below for some color and cool stories.

Philosophy is based on the idea of questioning everything, even the name itself means love of wisdom and what better field there it is in which you could ask questions than Politics? The questions of how a government should be run can be endless, and that’s how we came up with so many models, starting from the ancient Greeks so make sure to give the post below a read because you won’t regret it.

What started as some simple sketches, transformed over time into an illustrated storybook with amazing animations and an impressive story behind it. It’s never easy to pull off a project of this magnitude, especially if you have a day job and you’re a father but even if sometimes the time may be so little, this guy still manages to do it, so I urge you to check out his project at the link below.

Reading is a healthy behavior everyone should implement in their lives but even so, it’s never easy to pick up something that you like right off the bat; thus reviews are a great way to inform yourself about books. The book recommended by this author sounds like a good one, so I urge you to give the post a read because you might pick it up and start reading more often.

If one thing is true, is that things move fast in crypto and the time just flies away but even so, is never too late to make an introduction post on Steem, not even after three months. Many intros are done every day but only a handful of them are going to stick with you for longer than a few hours, and this is one of them, thanks to the impressive visuals, experiences, stories, and goals this guy is sharing with us, all at the link below.

The best things you can own are those made by you, DIY, because only then you can value that thing properly since you put your effort into building it. It’s never that easy to do something yourself the first time but it is well worth it in the end, and if you’re following the detailed tutorial below, you have many chances to do it.

Happy and successful start of the month, I love to review the publications to learn each day a little more, excellent publications thanks for sharing

@ocd .. your group of curators is doing a great job ... although I always help the new ones ... but in reality the new ones have to be warned a lot since their contents are relatively regular of every 100 new users 80% they make spam copy and paste ... to that user I always tell
try to publish quality content that at the end of the day brings great results and increases your reputation ... thank God I am also new, but I have known how to move in this world and I made great friends ... thanks to steemit ...

@ocd Excellent initiative in supporting new ones that make an extra effort to create creative and original content

Oh my lord!!! Wow thank you so much for the curation @GnikSivart. I am happy you liked it and, you never seen anything like it in the travel blogs on steemit?

I didn't realize my writing was so different though I mostly write a journal instead of a travel guide.

Thank you again
