OCD DAILY - Issue #349
Welcome to the 349th issue of @OCD Daily!
Issue #349 highlights content from ten (10)
Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.
Today our curators found ten (10)
new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.
The @OCD nomination process
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!
All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
Our top nomination of the day is from @notconvinced
@notconvinced shares an electric bike he's working on and talks about some of the projects he plans on posting for the future as a minimalist and live by volunteering 25 hours a week in exchange for room and board through the workaway resource.

My Quest For Personal Sovereignty
Our next nomination of the day is from @txatxy
@txatxy takes us on the tour of a beautiful church in the town of Balmaseda, Spain. The author shares some great pictures of the building that was rich in history, and one which he enjoyed visiting.

Admiring a church -Balmaseda-Basque Country-Spain/Admirando una iglesia-Balmaseda-País vasco-España
Our next nomination of the day is from @tjintje
Warning: Long post.
That's how @tijntje begins this post, which is indeed a very long one and yet, very enjoyable. As a photographer enthusiast, he gives us a personal tour around the Castello di Gradara in Italy. Short photo texts, many pictures, and long scenario descriptions is what you will find in this great gallery.

Castello di Gradara
Our next nomination of the day is from @modernzorker
@modernzorker has some varied tastes, and he shares them all with us in his reviews of books, movies, comics, and more. Often times the things he chooses to review take a horror turn, which I love. He also includes reviews of some fan favorite things like Dr. Who and Die Hard, as well. I would venture to guess that he also has the most impressive laser disc collection of anyone you know. In this post he reviews the 1989 book, Into the Pit, which he rates as, "Two grotesque sewer hands out of five."

Horror Review: Into The Pit (1989, Pocket Books)
Our next nomination of the day is from @borjan
He is the forest king, or if you prefer mushroom master. In this post @borjan presents us lots variety of mushrooms and short video od a very dramatic shroom scene. How can you not be amazed by micelium?

Fungi Friday - Macrolepiota procera ( Something clearly edible for a change :D)
Our next nomination of the day is from @uttambarman
@Uttambarman draws two watercolor paintings of Dhaka which is the busiest port in terms of passenger traffic in Bangladesh.
He is very good at mixing different levels of colors to create fascinating details. He also uses different moisture renderings to create the depth of field of foreground and background.
If you want to learn more about Dhaka and want to enjoy the beautiful artworks, you won’t want to miss this post.

"DRAWING OF BUSIEST PORT IN TERMS OF PASSENGER TRAFFIC "SADARGHAT" IN BANGLADESH.
Our next nomination of the day is from @mrobinsonwrites
A very extensive and elaborative book review from @mrobinsonwrites. If you are into exploring the unexplained events, jerome clark's piece might be a must read. But if you're still unsure why, this review might give you reasons why this should be on your next reading list.

The Scientifically Unexplained, Pre-Internet Culture, and the Preservation of Human Creativity
Our next nomination of the day is from @barski
Watercolor can be very challenging even with the right tools and paper.@barski, unfortunately, did not have the watercolor paper at hand to work with, but still wished to give it a go and the result still turned out amazing despite struggling with printer paper quickly deforming by the touch of water. @barski loves using a ballpoint pen for his sketching and found this pen&watercolor combination really fun to experiment with. Will the sharks catch up with the fisherman?

Our next nomination of the day is from @itachi24j
These cute drawings make you think they are the usual comic strips that you see with a typical conversation. But no. I enjoyed reading the first three drawings and when I reached the last one, it opened my eyes. What a deep message this has. It speaks about acknowledging your weaknesses and learning to use your strength to overcome those. We have our own ways of solving our problems. Doesn't matter if it's a common way. As long as you are comfortable with your way, the result is all that matters. Well done!

Our final nomination of the day is from @amberyooper
From this post by @amberyooper we learn how much planning is required to plant seeds in order to grow your own food. From actually buying the seeds to deciding that the Corn must be planted first so the Beans won't outgrow them... It might look like a simple plot of land, but it definitely comes with a lot of research and knowledge, I'm sure of it!

Question: what’s the code to highlight your font in gray like that, when you say “10?” I’ve searched online for html codes but when I try it, it doesn’t work—what am I doing wrong?
Pretend I’m a German Shepherd, eerily smart creatures, right? You just gotta talk.... real.... slow... 😉
Thank you!
