OCD DAILY - Issue #389

Welcome to the 389th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #389 highlights content from eight (8) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found eight (8) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @manoldonchev

Manol finds himself some balance on a beautiful beach by the Black Sea. Rock balancing has become quite a popular thing to do when spending time closer to nature. At first glance it appears as simply something to do, but it can be quite challenging since you have to remain still, harmonious when trying to find a balance with the rocks. At the same time while focusing on the rock balance, the focus and stillness within ourselves is the balance we so often seek. Take a look at these wonderful rock towers @manoldonchev has built and who knows perhaps his wife @silver.art will paint some of them?

Our next nomination of the day is from @jeilinespinel

An article highlighting the unique town of La Colonia Tovar, also known as Germany of the Carribean! The photos are really wonderful, we are introduced to the town's architecture and culture well. It is amazing how people travel the world, bringing their homes and heritage with them, and re-creating that identity halfway across the globe!

Our next nomination of the day is from @thebigsweed

Kindness is a great virtue, and @thebigsweed demonstrates a lot of it by lending a helping hand in a reconstruction project for a neighbor. The author gives a lot of details about the activities and various stages that went into the renovation of the barn, and there a lot of pictures of the project too.

Greddy is putting amazing cloud show for us! All the colors, fluffiness, rainbow, black, white everything. Truly spectacular!

Our next nomination of the day is from @maquemali

Recently the world has become a place full of instagramable experiences. Now you not just need to be there, you need to prove it. That phenomenon has caused the offer of places with those characteristics to increase. An example of that is this Upside Down House Museum in Davao City, Philippines. Look fun and a place we all love to share here in Steemit.

Our next nomination of the day is from @silviabeneforti

Today I learned oil paint on canvas takes weeks to dry! So although this artwork on canvas by @silviabeneforti seems 'finished', it actually takes quite a while before it's definitely 'done'. Silvia purposely not to chose a name for the figure in the painting so everyone can decide for themselves what they prefer.

The new oil painting on canvas board is ready to dry! ^_^

Our next nomination of the day is from @krazzytrukker

@krazzytrucker is a Steemian who apparently has an equally crazy cat! He shares photos of his mischievous kitten shredding up the place in this next blog. Check out the photos by visiting the blog linked below:

Our next nomination of the day is from @seanreilly

The glorious weather around Europe is a great time to go for walks, and what better than to go to an equally glorious park in Moscow. This is one of @seanreilly favourite park in the city. The park dates back to the 18th century when Catherine the Great purchased the estate. Today its pseudo-gothic building is the largest of this style in the whole of Europe. It's a great place to spend an afternoon with the family like @seanreilly did.
