OCDB Update

in #ocdb5 years ago (edited)

Hello everyone!

This is a quick post to let know all of our delegators that starting today, we will stop our decentralized curation on steem with @ocdb thus, we will stop sharing the curation rewards. If you are delegating to ocdb, please analyze if you want to keep doing it.

All of our curation efforts will be focused on the truly decentralized Blockchain we all know about, so please consider delegating to @ocdb over there.

Thanks to every one of you who trusted us with your delegations, we were able to contribute to the betterment of Steem while it was decentralized and stood up for the true values of what DPoS was meant to be.

We had a good run, see you on the other Blockchain.

Great news! I was actually surprised by how many people still linger here and moving @ocdb curation to our new buzzing home will surely make many of them leave this gloomy place and join us over there ;)

Thanks for the update. It is good that my HIVE delegation rolled over so still supporting the OCDB efforts.

Thanks for the update @anomadsoul, great to see that you're still going to continue, "over there."

You added great values to Steemit. I wish you success in your work.

I've been delegating to steem-ua but that has also died a long time ago as far as I can see. How can I undelegate?

https://steempeak.com/@cmmemes/transfers

Click the big Delegate button under your Hive Power. input steem-ua as recipient and 0 as amount. This undelegates.

I get this error: op.vesting_shares >= min_delegation: Account must delegate a minimum of {"amount":"1957728108","precision":6,"nai":"@@000000037"}"

Somehow it thinks you're doing something like 0.00001. Try this link and tell me if it works

for hive

for steem

For steem same error, for hive I get this " Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later". :( I tried delegating 1 SP in the hope it would reset it to 1, instead it added 1 to the existing delegation :)))).

OHhhhhhhh, I think I know what's happening.

Ok, so once you are delegating 0, you can't delegate 0 again. Delegating 0 is undelegating, and if you're delegating 0 again, it's simply not possible to undelegate if you don't delegate already.

So the timeline I think is this:

You delegated XXX amount
You undelegated all to 0
The delegation was coming back, but it still said -XXX in your account (it takes 7 days to return to your funds)
You tried to delegate to 0 again. It said the first error.
You delegated 1
You saw that it's still -XXX because it's coming back. And now that amount has increased by 1.

I think right now you're delegating 1. Delegate 0 again and it will work. And then, you will be delegating 0, but you will still see a -XXX amount in your wallet because it takes time.

Use steemworld.org in the Delegations tab and find how much you're giving. You can remove delegations from there as well.

Thank you. Really appreciate you taking the time to explain it to me :)

I'll see you on the 'platform that cannot be named' then. Steem is already turning into a ghost town. Sad to see, but the dream here is over.
