Gathered in Pain to Honor Océane
In all, more than 300 people gathered on the street of Berlin for this tribute, around the cross erected in honor of the teenager, accompanied by a large photo of the victim dressed in a blue toga.
Dozens of fluff and flowers were also placed in memory of Océane.
incomprehension
There was a lot of grief and anger among the crowd, but also a feeling of incomprehension in the face of such an heinous crime.
“She was 13 years old. It's young. She could have had a good life if it hadn't happened, ”lamented Amy-Lody Larche, 14, with confidence.
She had exchanged a few times with Océane at the polyvalente Lavigne de Lachute and she was disturbed to learn what had happened.
Discomfort
The emotion was at its height for the mother of the adolescent, Caroline Sarrazin, who suffered discomfort during the flight of balloons. She no longer felt able to breathe, to the point where emergency services were called.
The discomfort fortunately turned out to be minor, but it ended the rally.
Océane Boyer never returned after school last Wednesday.
Her parents reported her disappearance to the police at around 5:30 p.m. Investigators linked the teenager's disappearance to the discovery of a body earlier that day on Berlin Road.
François Sénécal, a friend of the family for twenty years, was arrested the next day and was charged with premeditated murder. He would have pushed the obnoxious to the point of offering Océane's mother to organize research in the area where he would have abandoned the body.
It was revealed on Saturday that he would have forced her to consume a large dose of medicine and alcohol before beating her to death with a blunt object.
RELATIVES AND FRIENDS TROUBLED BY THE EVENTS
The murder of Océane Boyer disturbed many people who insisted on coming to support the family on Sunday during a flight of balloons in memory of the teenager murdered at the age of 13.
Unfair
“It was something unfair that happened to the little girl. I am a mother too. I have a seven year old daughter. We always tell ourselves that if it happened to one of us, it would be good for everyone to be there to help us, to support us, ”said Catherine Etchenique, a friend of one of Océane's aunts.
She was visibly on edge, like several other relatives, friends and strangers who took part in the rally.
Melissa Sanscartier Dunn, 14, was due to go on a school trip to New York with Océane Boyer in May.
She spent difficult days.
"She was really fine. It hurts me, ”she said.
Amy-Lody Larche, 14, also found the last days long and painful.
"There were a lot of people talking about Océane, and it's true that it's really touching," she says.

He felt a lot of anger when he learned more about the drama.
“The day I learned it was terrible. I was in all my emotions. Especially knowing that children go to the same school as little Océane, ”he said, an elephant-shaped soft toy in his hands.
His spouse, Mélanie Dupont, also wanted to come and greet the deceased.
"It really moved us because it could really have been one of us or it could have happened to someone else too." It immediately led us to be more attentive to certain things, ”she said.
