Allodium Blockchain Report - Week #212 Ending Nov 1st 2021
The 4th full Allodium development season has completed, and what a season it has been!
The main project of the season, the Entry Hall, got built; the Gate Tower got insulated; and the two were connected with the castle fascade.
A drawbridge and extended structure to house it were built.
Several garden platers were erected and solar energy generation was upgraded; adding to the overall productive capacity of OG Foundation.
In Block 212, a bit of progress was made insulating the south facing 'visor' of the Entry Hall.
An earth berm is in-between the 'visor' and the original Earthship structure built in 2014.
On the inside, looking out, an insulation panel is foamed and buttressed to retain an aircrete pour.
The pour ended up collapsing, but the form didn't leak, so a mitigated success!
The second gap between the 3 main arches of the Entry Hall was also filled with aircrete!

With freezing temps becoming the norm overnight, time is almost out to do outdoor mortar projects.
Here, the area around the tunnel entrance connecting the Garage to the Living structure got re-rocked.
A first coat of mortar was added, which will keep the rocks in place.
A second and third coats will be necessary for structural stability/earth retention, but a warm spell of weather will be necessary first.
Despite the intent to focus on the kitchen, all of the work in the last couple weeks has been on outdoor mortar projects, due to dwindling windows of opportunity, due to weather constraints.
The good news is, with the kitchen insulated, work can continue into the cold months.
And of course, development will be continuing in the "off-season"; though generally, the pace slows to a crawl during the winter months.

In Block #212, ending 11/1/2021, a total of 2601@ (Appreciation Tokens) were generated; 371@ were generated by the daily appreciation of 53 members, 340@ were generated by 34 hours of labor exhausted for the Cooperative, and 1890@ were generated by 189 OG Creds (Ø); bringing the total to 345,008@.
There are currently 53 members of Allodium, 10 of whom have Affirmed their Sovereignty, and 6 of those whom have at least 1 OG Cred; along with 2 Dangling Branches. The updated Member Tree can be viewed here:
