Cryptocurrency exchange OKX reported difficulties in customer service due to problems on the side of the provider of cloud services Alibaba Cloud. The company said that users' assets are safe.

"Periodically there is a connection error with our cloud provider, which affects the work of users. We are solving the problem together. The funds are safe," the statement reads.

Update: Part of Alibaba Cloud services has resumed operation. In this regard, OKX will give users access to placing and closing passive (Post-Only) orders, as well as margin management.

Update: OKX will open deposits and withdrawals on December 19 at 06:00 (Kiev)/07:00 (MOSCOW TIME).
Some users report that the exchange has suspended deposits and withdrawals. According to Etherscan, by the time of writing, the OKX address had not participated in transactions for more than six hours.

Alibaba Cloud confirmed the presence of equipment problems in the Hong Kong IDC Zone C zone, which affected the operation of some services.

Recall that in November 2022, OKX announced the creation of a $100 million fund to support projects affected by the collapse of FTX.
