@ned is against in this competitor as far as I know... Lucky you don't have any delegation from him! And beside, ONO plaform have payment to do for 1 month before you can join unlike steemit... But if you are a businessman, you don't care for the sake of business...

Bro, I visited their websites like hundreds of time from April till today and I never read such information. Anyways, there is no such thing like $5. It's a free decentralized social media network and the good thing is its for humans, not for bots :)

If I recall correctly, for the first year, it's completely free. Then it works on a commission system (based on your earnings) over a 5yr period starting from 5-25% by year five. This is to incentivise advertisers to come on board, which, btw, is your free choice to use or not.
For me, I'm all for it. 25% of my post payouts go to the community as it stands anyway. It will generate unbiased capital for the platform, imho.
