STEEMIT Open Mic week 87 – Warushar by @mayneth (Original Song)

En este post quiero hablarles sobre el rescate de una lengua Pre-Colombina de Venezuela llamada Añú. La palabra "Añú" significa Pueblo de agua.

Sobre el texto de mi amigo Kinan Yarbouh (extraído de su obra "Isla") traducido a lengua Añú por Jofris Márquez (conocido como Caraco en lengua Añú) compusimos esta melodía con mi querida amiga Gretzy Atencio que les entrego en esta versión resumida respecto a la versión sinfónica que escribí originalmente. La magia de esta lengua en indescriptible porque esta prácticamente extinta y luchando por sobrevivir. En la música mi intención es otorgarle ese color ancestral y étnico que sobrepasa fronteras. La palabra Waruchar o Warushar traduce Laguna.

Para la comunidad Añú, la muerte es volver al sitio de donde fueron creados, así lo resalta su mito en el texto de "Medina Josefina" que sirvió de inspiración para la obra de mi amigo Kinan (de la cual ya les hablaré en un futuro post porque está muy interesante y para ese proyecto hice el soundtrack de la historia) En fin… Como pueden ver acá en esta versión para el #openmic grabé las voces, percusiones étnicas (incluyendo al cuerpo), contrabajo, guitarra y una flauta andina llamada zampoña.
