Songwriter's Challenge Week 5 "Wind Swept Shore" Bonus
The songs just keep on getting better, this week there was more than one performance that choked me up and inspired me. My friends, I have to say I feel like the luckiest man in the world, to be here sharing with all of you our love for music, and our dedication to this community. Aside from the fact that Steem itself is doing great, we are doing even better, growing in our ranks, and strengthening our place on this blockchain.
I committed myself to send out some extra love in the form of Steem to the top 5 performers of the week, so as per tradish, here are the transfers:

The funny thing is that I'm no longer in it for the guitar, it would be incredible to win it of course! But seeing how much focus I have gained from just participating and the music that has come out of me just because I have a deadline each week is amazing.
I wish this contest never ended haha. I came for the music and the guitar, now I'm just in it for the music and the drive I get from each entry.
Today I heard @basilmarples's week 5 entry and it brought me to tears, I read on his post this contest has him digging deep and you can tell how true that statement is if you saw the entry. I too have been digging deep, and I'm sure it's not just the two of us.

@meno this is such a heart warming post and @luisferchav your comments too. I love @basilmarples. It does mean so much to me too, to be part of this really special thing. I was at a point in my life where my music was a tumbleweed desert, and now there is a fresh stream running through. It's a safety net we are all providing for each others creativity... And the power of music! The power of connection with others. We are so lucky.

I do not want to seem ungrateful (quite the opposite) but I must say that when I read that you would send a bonus to those who were in your top 5 of "(shore whipped by the wind)" I was excited because you made a post in which you placed me 4th and here I do not appear. X (anyway my sincere affection and my respect.
Creo que es un poco confuso, lo siento, lo que pasa es que es el top 5 de todos los jueces sumados, no solos mis top 5.
Mas sin embargo, te mande ahorita mismo un pequenio gesto de carinio... este va de mi parte y no tiene nada que ver con el challenge, mas sin embargo no es gratis.

Thank you! It means a lot; I really do just feel so incredibly supported as an artist on Steemit. The community is amazing, and it's hard to express just how much of a difference this place is making to me after years of struggling to be heard and be able to peacefully continue working on my craft.
